WDFW Report

posted Jan 18, 2017, 8:53 PM by Columbia Plateau Wildlife Management   [ updated Jan 18, 2017, 9:20 PM ]
WDFW has briefed our association on the results from their 2016 helicopter survey of Turnbull and the outlying area. The results show an increase in Bulls and Calves. This is also the third year that the wildlife refuge is near its predetermined carrying capacity for the total number of elk within the refuge. Currently this allows our association to keep the same number of LHP (Landowner Hunting Permits).

For more information or specific details to this survey, please contact WDFW. CPWMA does not have any official report or specific details related to this survey.
